Open in the Future currently provides a browser-only preview for creating messages with future dates. Capsules stay in local browser storage on the device where they are created.

These plain-language terms describe the current public preview of Open in the Future. They will be replaced before any paid, account-based, cloud-storage, or delivery service launches.
2. User responsibility
Users should not store emergencies, passwords, illegal content, threats, or material that must be delivered with absolute legal certainty. Time capsules are meaningful keepsakes, not legal notices.
3. No payments in this preview
Prices shown are product concepts only. This preview does not collect payment information or sell cloud storage or scheduled delivery.
4. No delivery guarantee
The preview does not send emails or guarantee a message will remain available. Browser storage can be lost if data is cleared, the browser is reset, or the device is unavailable.
5. Privacy and deletion
You can delete capsules from the local Vault. Do not use the preview for passwords, emergency instructions, legal notices, or the only copy of irreplaceable information.
